Job Opening: Data Entry/Cashier

SUMMARY OF JOB:

 

The cashiers provide assistance to patients in collecting office visit payments and enters daily all charges and payments into the computer system.

PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS:

 

  1. Accountability: Reports directly to the Cashier Supervisor.

 

  1. Education or Training: Must be a high school graduate or earned a GED.

 

  1. Knowledge and Experience: Requires at least 1 year of previous cashiering or banking experience.

 

  1. Dexterity: Must have good manual dexterity. Must be able to function in an office setting.

 

  1. Accuracy: Must be able to post payments into the computer system without error and       give correct change to patients.

 

  1. Physical Activity: Physical activity involves keying, reaching, carrying, looking, listening, talking, bending, lifting, standing, walking, and much sitting, resulting in light work.
