The Nose

Care of the nasal cavity and sinuses is one of the primary skills of otolaryngologists. Their expertise in the nasal area includes management of allergies, sense of smell, sinus issues, breathing and even the appearance of the nose.

Chronic sinusitis is one of the most common health complaints in America. Other problems in the nasal area can take the form of a loss of smell, impaired breathing, polyps, a broken nose, and nasal obstructions due to a deviated septum.

These conditions can often be treated with steroids, nose drops, and medications, but sometimes surgery is warranted. The Premier Medical physicians are trained in a variety of surgical procedures like sinus surgery, rhinoplasty to correct the appearance and function of the nose, and septoplasty to correct a deviated nasal septum.
